Time to set the record straight.
Connecticut’s original pizza trail was born right here — not in a boardroom, but in the ovens, streets, and stories of local pizza lovers who know what “apizza” really means.
We’re rebuilding the original CT Pizza Trail experience — by the fans, for the fans.
The Real CT Pizza Trail
Recently, others have tried to replicate the idea — including official tourism campaigns — but make no mistake:
The CT Pizza Trail began here.
We built the name, the community, and the passion from scratch.
Our goal isn’t to compete — it’s to continue what we started: a true celebration of the pizza makers, families, and fans who make Connecticut the pizza capital of America.
What’s Next
A new Connecticut Pizza Trail is coming.
We’re developing an interactive map and trail builder that helps pizza lovers:
- Discover the best pizza spots across Connecticut
- Build their own custom pizza trails
- Share their journey with #CTPizzaTrail
This will be the community-built pizza experience — no state funding, no gimmicks, just real pizza love.
Exciting Collaborations
As we rebuild the original trail, we’re teaming up with partners who share our love of authentic Connecticut food and community:
Taste of New Haven — the legendary food tour company that’s been leading hungry explorers through the Elm City’s pizza legacy for over a decade. Together, we’ll spotlight the stories, history, and flavors that make New Haven-style pizza world-famous.
WPLR 99.1 FM — Connecticut’s rock station and longtime supporter of local food culture. We’re in early talks to bring the CT Pizza Trail to the airwaves with live features, pizza crawls, and listener challenges.
Stay tuned — there’s nothing cookie-cutter about what’s coming next. This is Connecticut’s original pizza movement, reborn.
